WIST, April 13 -- The international students enrolled in 2024 spring visited Wuhan Art Museum (Qintai), which is the second tour after their arrival at WIST organized by the the School of Economics and Management (SEM).

The exhibition theme in the museum currently is "City of Thousand Faces": Flowing Landscape and Characters. In the tide of the times, characters and cities are like intertwined symbols, carrying the sediment of life civilization; every piece of work, every single frame of image, and every immersive experience is a dialogue between people and objects together with the environment, according to the preface of the exhibition. Before the artworks, the international students watched and stopped to take photos, immersing themselves in exploring new language to enhance their narrative and emotions.

This tour is also an aesthetic education practice and an inspiring cultural journey, the teachers of SEM who designed and organized the event said. They noted the immersive activity can allow the international students to experience the charm of art firsthand, and promote their humanistic literacy and aesthetic sensibility.
