WIST, April 16 -- Li Hang, vice director of International Education Center of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU) of Thailand, led a delegation to visit WIST on Tuesday. Chen Changjiang, vice secretary of the WIST Party Committee, and Gao Wenqian, vice director of College-Enterprise Cooperation Department, had a meeting with the delegation.
Chen introduced the history and the achievements of WIST. He said, since the first admission of Thai students to WIST in 2017, we have gradually deepened the collaboration with Thai educational institutions, carrying out multiple programs such as student exchange and faculty training. He noted, in the future, we will also build a good relationship with SSRU and strive to develop multidimensional programs to deepen the educational cooperation.
Li introduced the history and the majors of SSRU. He believes the two sides share many similarities in teaching and curricula of arts and business majors, and in the future, we will start from these two fields to strengthen communication and cooperation.
At the meeting, Chen and Li, on behalf of their respective colleges, signed a strategic cooperation agreement.
After the meeting, Li and his delegation visited the art design training rooms of the School of Construction & Design and the e-commerce training rooms of the School of Business & Trade. They also had a friendly exchange with the international students of WIST.
SSRU, founded in 1937, is an internationally renowned comprehensive university with educational qualifications recognized by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. It is located in Bangkok with 14 schools and over 40,000 current students, having well-equipped teaching facilities and high-quality faculty.
