WIST, February 10 -- On the first day of the first lunar month, Huang Shihua, secretary of the WIST Party Committee, visited various duty stations such as the Gate Sentry, Security Office, Logistics Support Division, and School of Business and Trade. He also visited Thai students on campus to send New Year’s blessings to the faculty and students. Directors and officers from the Party and Administration Office, Security Department, and Logistics Support Division accompanied them.
At each duty station, Huang had cordial conversations with the members on duty, inquiring about their physical conditions and reminding them to manage their work and rest time effectively. He emphasized that it is due to everyone’s dedication and selflessness, sacrificing personal time for the collective, that WIST has achieved safety and stability during the winter vacation.
Huang conveyed his profound admiration and appreciation for their selfless dedication, and presented a Spring Festival gift package as a token of gratitude.
At the School of Business and Trade, the teachers and international students were engaging in activities such as writing the character "福(blessing)", writing Spring Festival couplets, and playing pitch-pot games to celebrate the Spring Festival. Huang provided guidance to the international students as they wrote Spring Festival couplets, introduced them to Chinese Spring Festival culture, and interacted with the teachers and students. Huang emphasized the importance of staying warm and urged students to report any difficulties to their teachers promptly. The international students also eagerly shared their New Year wishes and holiday plans.
