WIST, December 10 -- The Business Data Analysis Competition of the Belt and Road & BRICS Skills Development & Technology Innovation Competition was held in Hangzhou. After going through regional qualifiers and national finals, the team of WIST eventually stood out from over 300 teams and won the second prize in China.
Li Chen, Wen Wanrong, and Yang Mengdie, students majoring in Business Data Analysis and Application under the guidance of teachers Li Yuzhu and Zhang Jin from the School of Business and Trade (SBT), completed data pre-processing and visual analysis system operation in the qualifiers after more than six months of careful preparation, and completed data analysis report production and on-site defense in the finals. In the process of more than ten days of report writing and continuous improvement, the team members were calm and composed, not afraid of difficulties, united and cooperated, and finally won the national second prize, according to their instructors, who were awarded the “Excellent Instructor”. WIST won the “Best Organization Award”.
